BIS Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS)

The BIS Compulsory Registration Scheme (CRS) is a product-registration framework applicable to specified Electronics and IT goods and other notified products. Under CRS, specified products must conform to the applicable Indian Standard and obtain BIS registration before being manufactured, imported, stored, sold or distributed in India. We assist manufacturers and importers with applicability assessment, documentation, testing coordination, application support and post-registration compliance.
