Consent to Establish (CTE)

Consent to Establish (CTE) is the approval required from the State Pollution Control Board (SPCB) or Pollution Control Committee (PCC) before establishing a prescribed industrial plant, process or operation that may discharge effluent or emit air pollutants. It is mandated under Section 25/26 of the Water Act, 1974 and Section 21 of the Air Act, 1981. We assist with applicability assessment, documentation, application, regulatory liaison and compliance with consent conditions.
